Positive Women’s Network (PWN+) was established in 2009, it runs two drop-in centres which are operated by PLHIV for PLHIV (membership of 216) to provide a safe, secure and confidential environment, free of stigma and discrimination where PLHIV can obtain counselling services, financial and emotional support. This is done through hospital visits, provision of medicine and travelling costs for check-ups to ensure and encourage members to access medical care, home visits to provide guidance and counselling, and rehabilitation of PLHIV. In addition, PWN+ provides a nutrition pack each month to 21children living with HIV (worth Rs.1500), and disseminates knowledge on the nutritional practices that PLHIV should follow to live healthily.
